How to Feed Percula Clownfish

The percula clownfish is a member of the clownfish family, which became well-known after the 2003 Disney-Pixar animated film "Finding Nemo." Percula clownfish are omnivorous, meaning they will eat both plants and animals to survive. One source of food for the clownfish in the wild is the ingested matter of the sea anemone, which the clownfish lives inside of. Feeding your percula clownfish involves providing the fish with a variety of meats and vegetation.

Watch the clownfish during the feedings. When the clownfish begins to swim away from or loses interest in the food it is full. Otherwise, remove any food from the tank after three to five minutes.
