What toucans eat?
Toucans have a wide-ranging diet that primarily includes fruits, berries, nuts, and insects. Some of their favorite fruits include bananas, papayas, figs, pineapples, and guavas. They also consume tree frogs and insects like grasshoppers, beetles, and spiders. Toucans are known for their unique beaks, which they use to access food in crevices and holes in trees. They can also use their beaks to strip bark and pry open hard-to-reach insects and fruits. Additionally, toucans sometimes drink nectar from flowers and may occasionally consume small reptiles and amphibians.
