Do white sharks eat black tip sharks?
White sharks (Carcharodon carcharias), also known as great white sharks, are apex predators that feed on various marine animals. Blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus) are smaller coastal sharks that are commonly found in warm waters. While white sharks have been known to prey on smaller shark species, including blacktip sharks, it is not their primary food source. White sharks typically target larger prey such as seals, sea lions, fish, and occasionally other sharks. Blacktip sharks, on the other hand, primarily feed on smaller fish, crustaceans, and cephalopods.
