What eat cephalopods?

Cephalopods are preyed upon by a variety of marine animals, including:

Fish, such as tuna, swordfish, and sharks

Marine mammals, such as dolphins, seals, and sea lions

Seabirds, such as albatrosses, gulls, and pelicans

Reptiles, such as turtles and crocodiles

Cetaceans, such as whales and porpoises

Even other cephalopods, such as giant squid and octopuses

In addition to these predators, cephalopods are also susceptible to various parasites and diseases.
