How do sharks eat starfish?
Sharks generally do not eat starfish (sea starts). Starfish have a unique defense mechanism called pedicellariae, which are small pincer-like structures covering their body. These pedicellariae can deter predators by pinching or grasping them. Additionally, starfish have a tough and spiny exoskeleton that makes them difficult to digest for most predators, including sharks. While some shark species may occasionally consume small starfish, they are not a primary or significant part of their diet.
