What animal eats bottlenose dolphins?

Bottlenose dolphins are at the top of their food chain, meaning they are apex predators. This means they have very few natural predators in the wild.

However, there are a few animals that *could* pose a threat to dolphins:

* Larger sharks: Great white sharks, tiger sharks, and bull sharks are capable of hunting and eating dolphins.

* Orcas (killer whales): Orcas are the only animals that regularly hunt and kill adult dolphins.

* Humans: Sadly, humans can be a threat to dolphins through overfishing, pollution, entanglement in fishing gear, and habitat destruction.

It's important to note that these interactions are relatively rare. Dolphins are incredibly agile and intelligent animals, making them difficult prey. They also travel in pods, which offers safety in numbers.
