What animal prey on Dolphins?

Dolphins are apex predators, meaning they are at the top of the food chain. This means they have very few natural predators. However, there are a few animals that occasionally prey on dolphins:

* Large sharks: Great white sharks, tiger sharks, and bull sharks have been known to attack and kill dolphins.

* Killer whales (orcas): Orcas are the primary predator of dolphins and are very successful at hunting them.

* Other large marine mammals: Occasionally, large seals and polar bears have been documented to prey on dolphins, especially in polar regions.

It's important to note that these instances are relatively rare. Most of the time, dolphins are safe from predation due to their social structure, intelligence, and agility.
