Watch the guppy's activity. As the female guppy gets closer to delivery, her movements slow down because she is getting heavier.
Observe the guppy's behavior. A female guppy may become shy and reclusive before she drops the fry.
Make note of the guppy at feeding time. A female guppy who is pregnant may stop eating shortly before her fry are delivered.
