What do sea otters dislike?
Killer whales are the primary predator of sea otters, and they can kill large numbers of them in a single attack. Sea otters also have to be wary of sharks, bears, bald eagles, and even their own kind. In addition to these predators, sea otters are also vulnerable to pollution and climate change. Oil spills can coat their fur, making them unable to insulate themselves and leading to hypothermia and death. Climate change is causing sea ice to melt, which reduces the amount of habitat available for sea otters and makes them more vulnerable to predators.
