Do predators make it hard for a cheetah to find food?

Cheetahs are vulnerable to predators while they are eating. Lions, leopards, hyenas, and even vultures will try to steal their food. Sometimes cheetahs will try to chase off these animals, but they are often unsuccessful. This can make it difficult for cheetahs to get enough food to survive.

In addition to predators, cheetahs must also contend with the fact that their prey is often scarce. Cheetahs primarily eat gazelles, wildebeest, and impala. However, these animals are not always easy to find. Cheetahs must be able to track down their prey and then chase them down. This can be a difficult and time-consuming process.
