How does a sawfish kill its pray?
A sawfish uses its rostrum, which is a long, flat, saw-like snout, to kill its prey. The sawfish's teeth are located only along the edges of its rostrum, and are used to slash and kill prey. When a sawfish attacks, it will swing its rostrum from side to side, using the teeth on its rostrum to inflict serious injuries on its prey. The sawfish will then use its powerful tail to stun or kill the prey.
