How to Clean Fake Plants in Fish Tanks

Plants can add a level of realism to your home aquarium that is difficult to achieve with their exclusion. Live plants can be difficult to keep, however, and are prone to wilting or being eaten or uprooted. Thus, artificial plants, available commonly in silk and plastic varieties, have become popular aquarium ornaments. They do have a tendency, though, like any other decoration, to accumulate algae, dirt and grime, which must be frequently cleaned off. This easy task is identical for both plastic and silk varieties.
