Where is a cheetahs habitat?

Cheetahs are found in sub-Saharan Africa. Their habitat is primarily:

* Open grasslands and savannas: These areas provide the wide-open spaces they need for their fast running and hunting.

* Bushveld: This is a type of savanna with denser vegetation, offering cover and shade.

* Scrubland: Similar to bushveld, this habitat provides cover and some protection from the harsh sun.

Specific countries where cheetahs live include:

* Botswana

* Namibia

* South Africa

* Tanzania

* Kenya

* Iran (a small, isolated population exists in Iran)

While they prefer these habitats, they can adapt to some degree to other areas like dry woodlands and even mountainous regions.
