What temperature do penguins live in?
Penguins live in a wide range of habitats, from the tropics to the Antarctic, and experience a variety of temperatures. Some species, such as the Galapagos penguin, live in relatively warm climates with average temperatures between 18-24°C (64-75°F). Others, such as the emperor penguin, live in freezing conditions with average temperatures around -50°C (-58°F). Most penguin species live in temperate climates with average temperatures between 0-10°C (32-50°F).
