What is the ecosystem that seals live in?
Seals live in marine ecosystems, such as the Arctic and Antarctic oceans, as well as in coastal waters and estuaries. Some species, like the Caspian seal, are found in inland seas. Seals are well adapted to life in water, with streamlined bodies, flippers, and a layer of blubber for insulation. They feed primarily on fish, but some species also eat squid, krill, and other marine life. Seals are important predators in the marine food web and play a role in regulating the populations of their prey species.
