How do you know if your fish is sleeping on the bottom of tank or not?

Fish do not sleep in the same way that humans do, but they do rest. When a fish is resting, it will typically lie on the bottom of the tank or find a hiding spot. Some fish may also rest by floating near the surface of the water.

There are a few ways to tell if your fish is sleeping or resting:

* Its eyes will be closed or partially closed.

* Its body will be relaxed and its fins will be down.

* It will not be moving around very much.

* It may be making a clicking or chirping sound.

If you are not sure whether or not your fish is sleeping, you can gently touch it with your finger. If it swims away, it was not sleeping. If it does not move, it is likely asleep or resting.

It is important to not disturb a fish that is sleeping or resting. If you do, it may become stressed or injured.
