How to Feed Farm Pond Fish

Fish in a pond keep the water and ecosystem in balance by eating the algae that grows in the water. Without fish, the algae in a pond would grow and take over the pond, making the water smelly and the pond uninhabitable for fish and water animals because of the lack of oxygen. While fish feed on algae, bugs and frogs in the water, they do need to be fed supplemental food to keep them healthy and growing. The food that you feed farm pond fish is dried fish food pellets which you can pick up at your local garden or farm supply store.
