- Pond brush (stainless steel bristles)

Instructions
Green Algae
Turn off pond pump and move any fish to a temporary tank. Measure the amount of chlorine algae product necessary for your pond size.
Add the chlorinated algae remover to the pond and let it sit for one day. After remover has been in pond for 24 hours, remove algae using a pond vacuum.
Test the pH level of the pond. Replace fish and restore power to the pump.
Mustard Algae
Shut off pond pump. Apply chlorinated algaecide directly to spots of mustard algae. Allow the treatment to sit overnight.
Brush spots of mustard algae with stainless steel bristle brush. Also scrub any algae from sides and bottom of the pond.
Turn on the pond pump and use a vacuum to remove leftover algae.
Black Algae
Turn off pond pump and remove any fish. Use highest amount allowed of chlorinated algaecide (see product instructions). Place algaecide directly on the algae as much as possible.
Brush any algae spots with stainless steel bristle brush. Also scrub any visible algae from sides and bottom of the pond. Repeat steps 1 &2.
Remove any dead algae with a pond vacuum. Once black algae is dead, it will appear gray in color. This process may take more than a week.
