What is Terra Aqua Column?

Terra Aqua Column is an 8.25 metre high, free standing artwork constructed of stacked columns of aluminium alloy tubes, each column supporting a bowl to contain water, and an internal lighting device. The aluminium columns are attached to a large square base, and are painted in a colourful arrangement of red, orange, yellow and blue. The water bowls and internal lights are connected to an electrical system that produces a series of controlled colour changing light effects, which are programmed to vary over a period of time, and are synchronised with the sound effects.
