Juwel Aquarium Heater Instructions

When you set up a tropical fish tank, the key word is "tropical." No matter what the size of your tank, it is important to keep the water at the proper temperature. Most fish sold in pet stores require a temperature higher than typical room temperature, so hobbyists will need to invest in a quality heater to keep the water warm. The Juwel brand of heaters is a popular choice for both experienced hobbyists and newcomers to the world of tropical aquariums.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the heater holder into your Juwel filter if you plan to use the filter and heater together. Juwel heaters are designed to fit securely inside a Juwel filter.

    • 2

Attach the Juwel heater to the filter housing. You can also insert the heater into the guide rail on the inside of the filter.

    • 3

Attach the included suction cups to the heater tube if you are not installing it in the Juwel filter. Remove some of the water from your aquarium so the suction cups can adhere to the dry glass. After the suction cups are securely in place, the tank can be refilled.

Turn the adjustment knob on the top of the Juwel heater. Watch the temperature display and continue turning the knob until the desired temperature is achieved.
