Analog Coralife Power Strip Instructions

When you have fish in your aquarium, it is important to take the steps to ensure they are healthy. One thing you will need is a lighting system. You can automate the process of turning the lights on and off with an analog Coralife power strip and aquarium timer. All you have to do is plug in your lights and set the timer. The device will do the rest.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the Coralife power strip in a location near the fish tank that the cord from the lighting system will reach. Connect the power cord from the power strip to an open AC wall outlet and then connect the power cord from your lighting system into an open yellow or blue outlet on the power strip. You can connect the power cord from other devices, such as a heater, into the white outlets for continuous power.

    • 2

Turn on the lighting system. The power switch will need to be in the "On" position permanently in order for the power strip to control when it will be turned on and off. Turn the "Manual" control switch to the "Timer-on" position in order to enable the timer on the power strip.

    • 3

Turn the "Timer" dial clockwise until the current time is facing the arrow printed on the body of the power strip. Once the time is set, pull up on the yellow and blue timer tabs located on the outside of the "Timer" dial.

    • 4

Move the first yellow tab to the time that you want the lighting system to turn on and then press it down to lock it in place. Move the second yellow tab to the time that you want the system to turn off. Any item plugged into the yellow outlets will turn on or off at the times you have set.

    • 5

Repeat Step 4 for the blue tabs if you have any part of the lighting system plugged into the blue outlets, or if you want to have a different set of lights operating on a different schedule. Move the "Manual" control switch to "Yellow-on" or "Blue-on" at any time to restore power to these outlets.
