What else do fish need besides water?

In addition to water, fish need a variety of other things to survive, including:

- Oxygen: Fish need oxygen to breathe. This can be obtained from the surface of the water, or from plants or other organisms in the water.

- Food: Fish need food to provide energy and nutrients for growth and reproduction. They can eat a variety of things, including algae, plants, insects, and other animals.

- Shelter: Fish need shelter to protect themselves from predators, currents, and other elements of their environment. This can include plants, rocks, or man-made structures.

- Water Quality: Fish need water that is clean and free of harmful chemicals or toxins. This includes keeping the water at the proper temperature and pH level.

- Social Interaction: Some species of fish are social and need to interact with other members of their species in order to survive and thrive.
