How to Add Purple Up to a Salt Water Aquarium

Balancing the calcium, iodine and other minerals in a saltwater tank is crucial to the survival of the coral, plant life and fish. Purple-Up accelerates the growth of coralline algae while not encouraging the growth of troublesome algae strains, according to CaribSea, the manufacturer. Treat your saltwater tank daily with Purple-Up for the best results. Test the water regularly to avoid an over-saturation of calcium.
