Instructions
Let your water sit in a clean bucket overnight, before adding it to the tank.
Add the water to your tank the next day. By that time, the water will have released some of its dissolved gas.
Scrub your fishnet gently against the inside of your tank, to agitate the larger bubbles.
Cycle your tank, and allow the water's dissolved oxygen to work its way out naturally.
Wait a few days, as the more persistent bubbles release and pop on their own.
How to Get Rid of the Bubbles in a Fish Tank
Bubbles in a fish tank may not pose a serious health risk to your fish, but they can slightly impair your tank's appearance. So in order to keep your tank bright and sparkling, you may have to take an extra step or two to eliminate those troublesome pockets of air.
