What sound does a salmon make?

Salmon don't make any audible sounds that humans can hear. They communicate through vibrations and water currents.

Here's why:

* No vocal cords: Salmon lack the vocal cords necessary to produce sound.

* Water environment: Sound travels differently in water than in air. The sounds they might make are likely too low in frequency for human ears to pick up.

* Communication through vibration: Salmon communicate using vibrations, which they create by rubbing their bodies against objects or using their fins to create water currents.

So, while they don't "talk" in the way we think of it, they have their own unique ways of communicating underwater!
