Do gills have their own gills?

This is a bit of a trick question, playing on the word "gills".

* Gills are the respiratory organs of aquatic animals like fish, amphibians, and some invertebrates. They are specifically designed for extracting oxygen from water.

* Gills do not have their own gills. They are not living organisms themselves, but rather a part of the organism they belong to.

Think of it this way: your lungs are part of your body, but they don't have their own lungs!
