Things You'll Need
- Flake fish food
- Frozen fish food
- Bloodworms (live or frozen)
- Brine shrimp (live or frozen)
- Sinking fish food pellets or shrimp pellets
Instructions
Offer your guppies crushed flake food twice a day. Each time you feed your guppies, give them only as much food as they can eat within 3 to 5 minutes. Overfeeding can lead to waste build-up in your tank.
Feed your African dwarf frogs every other day with sinking fish food pellets. Offer 2 or 3 small sinking fish food pellets or shrimp pellets per frog every other day. Because African dwarf frogs forage for their food, you may scatter the pellets in different places around the tank.
Offer both your guppies and African dwarf frogs live or frozen foods as a treat once a week. Purchase live bloodworms at your local petstore or look for frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms that come packaged in small cubes. Thaw the cubes in a small cup of tank water before feeding it to your guppies and frogs.
Vary the diet of both your guppies and African dwarf frogs to ensure their health and vitality. Alternate giving your guppy regular flake foods and color-enhancing flake foods and feed your frogs a variety of pellet foods. Giving your pets a varied diet will ensure that they get all the nutrients they need.
