What part of the ocean are great white sharks mostly found?

Great white sharks are found mostly in the coastal waters and open oceans of the world. They have a vast range, found in all the major oceans except the Arctic. They prefer coastal waters with large seal and sea lion populations, and they are found along the coasts of North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia. They are most commonly found in the eastern North Pacific Ocean, in the area just off the coast of California and Mexico, as well as in the central and western Pacific Ocean. They are also found in the Indian Ocean, particularly off the coast of South Africa, and in the Atlantic Ocean, particularly off the coasts of the northeastern United States and Canada, as well as off the coasts of South America and Africa.
