Where did Lully live?

Jean-Baptiste Lully lived in France. He was born in Florence, Italy, in 1632, but moved to France at a young age and became a naturalized citizen in 1661. He spent most of his life in Paris, where he worked as a composer, conductor, and dancer at the court of Louis XIV. Lully died in Paris in 1687.
