Can seahorses survive in cold waters?
No, seahorses cannot survive in cold waters. Seahorses are tropical and subtropical fish found in shallow waters near coral reefs and seagrass beds. They prefer warm water temperatures between 68°F and 82°F (20°C and 28°C). Seahorses are not equipped to withstand cold water temperatures and can quickly become stressed and die if exposed to temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
