1. The Greater Antilles: This group consists of the larger islands of the Caribbean, including Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and Puerto Rico.
2. The Lesser Antilles: This group includes the smaller islands of the Caribbean, located to the east of the Greater Antilles. The Lesser Antilles are further divided into the Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands. The Leeward Islands include the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Dominica, and Martinique. The Windward Islands include the islands of Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago.
3. The Lucayan Archipelago: This group includes the islands of The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands. These islands are located north of the Greater Antilles.
