What type of animal hunt a whale shark?

Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world and are at the top of the food chain, meaning they don't typically get hunted by other animals.

However, there are a few exceptions:

* Small sharks and fish: Young or smaller whale sharks might be vulnerable to attack from larger sharks, especially when they are still developing.

* Orcas (killer whales): While not a frequent occurrence, orcas have been known to prey on whale sharks. They are highly intelligent and capable of hunting large prey.

* Humans: Unfortunately, humans pose a major threat to whale sharks through fishing practices like accidental bycatch and targeted fishing.

It's important to remember that whale sharks are not hunted regularly by other animals due to their massive size and defensive mechanisms. They are more likely to encounter threats from humans than from other animals.
