How to Feed Mollies

Many fish owners put Mollies in their aquariums. Mollies do not require a special type of flake or pellet, making feeding time easier. Regular aquarium fish flakes will provide the Mollies with most of the nutrients they need. Supplement the flakes with a vegetable-based fish food. When you feed the Mollies watch them to make sure that all have eaten. Sometimes other fish or other Mollies will snatch up the food. If this happens, sprinkle in more food.

  • Fish food flakes
  • Vegetable food flakes

Instructions

      Open the food container. Put your thumb and index finger inside of the container and remove a pinch of flakes.

      Sprinkle the flakes into the water in the morning.

      Feed the Mollies the vegetable flake in the same fashion in the middle of the day.

      Feed the Mollies one more pinch of regular flakes at the end of the day.
