Who as Susie Salmon?

Susie Salmon is the main character in the novel The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. She is a 14-year-old girl who is brutally murdered in her hometown. After her death, she remains in a kind of limbo, watching over her family and friends from heaven as they try to cope with her loss and solve her murder.
