Where are chimpanzees found?
Chimpanzees are found in the forests and woodlands of central and western Africa. They have a wide range of habitats, including rainforests, dry forests, and forest-savanna mosaics. Chimpanzees are found in a number of countries, including Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda.
