How to Kill Arthropods

Arthropods are renowned in the evolutionary world for being extremely resistant from any exterior puncturing - increasing their survival rate dramatically. However, arthropods, like any evolutionary branch, have a chink in the armor -- they require exterior oxygen to live. With some hard work and effort, arthropods can be killed in a quick and humane way.

Instructions

    • 1

Fill your jar with rubbing alcohol and ensure that when you close the jar there is no air bubble.

    • 2

Place your arthropod into your jar and quickly close to top of the jar by clamping down and eliminating any air bubbles. The rubbing alcohol will kill the arthropod because rubbing alcohol has no oxygen in it, which arthropods require to live.

    • 3

Keep the jar closed for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, open your jar and remove your dead arthropod.
