Instructions

    • 1

Pour some of the water from the tank into a clean glass jar. Carefully use a small spoon to transfer the Sea-Monkeys from the dirty tank to the jar.

    • 2

Pour the dirty tank water through the coffee filter into another clean container. Repeat the process until the water looks clean and does not smell bad. Using two containers makes the process easier and quicker.

    • 3

Clean the empty tank with a paper towel on the end of a wooden spoon or chopstick. Use a cotton swab to get into the bottom corners.

    • 4

Rinse the tank with distilled or purified water. Pour the cleaned Sea-Monkey water back into the tank and carefully re-introduce the Sea-Monkeys from the jar.

    • 5

Add more purified or distilled water if necessary to fill the tank. Feed the Sea-Monkeys and aerate the tank twice on cleaning day, then wait at least three days before feeding them again.
