What is sargaso?

Sargasso is a region in the North Atlantic Ocean bounded by four currents: the Gulf Stream, the North Atlantic Current, the Azores Current, and the Canary Current. It is known for its calm waters and dense mats of Sargassum seaweed, which gives the region its name. The seaweed provides habitat for a variety of marine life, including sea turtles, fish, and shrimp. Sargasso is also a popular fishing ground and a shipping lane.
