Can you touch a chinchilla after its dust bath?

It is best to wait a bit before handling a chinchilla after its dust bath. Right after they take a dust bath their fur looks fluffy, but there may still be bits of dust floating and settling in their fur.

To avoid breathing this dust it's suggested you wait a little for it to air-dry first before interacting with or petting a chinchilla after a dust bath.
