How to Catch a Baby Frog

      Use a clean jar to catch the tadpoles.

      Clean the jar or container with hot water to kill any germs.

      Go to a pond and look for small frog eggs or tadpoles swimming along the edge of the pond. Also place any small frogs that you see into the jar.

      Place your jar in the water and scoop up some tadpoles, along with some pond water. The tadpoles will look like tiny fish swimming in the water. Put some plants from the pond in with the tadpoles so that they have something to eat and a place to hide while they are growing.

      Place the tadpoles, small frogs, pond water and plants into a small fish tank. Watch the tadpoles grow and develop into young frogs.
