How to Feed a Leopard Frog

Leopard frogs are small frogs that grow to be between two and five inches long. They are a pale brown with darker spots on their bodies, which gives them their name. Like all frogs, they require live prey as they will not recognize dead insects as food. As long as you are wiling to feed leopard frogs living insects, they are simple amphibians to keep as pets.

Sprinkle a pinch of pure calcium supplement on the crickets that you are planning to feed to your leopard frog. You only need a very light dusting of calcium on the crickets.
