Instructions
Fill a large bowl with cold tap water. Let it sit on the counter for at least one hour to reach room temperature. Luke-warm water can be lethal to frogs.
Test the temperature of the water with a thermometer. The ideal temperature needs to be between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add a few water crystals to the tap water for purification purposes. You can order water crystals from the Grow-a-Frog company online.
Crack the aquarium's lid so you can access the water and your frog. If you have a Stage Two Habitat tank, remove the lid from the tank and replace it with the EZ Clean lid that came with the tank.
Dunk a clean plastic cup or small pail into the aquarium and scoop up some water and the frog. Grow-a-Frogs need to be in water all of the time. Don't scoop the frog out with a net as it may get away or die as a result of being out of water.
Pour out 90 percent of the water in the tank. This will help eliminate the dirty water in the tank.
Fill the tank up with clean water. There should be a 4-inch clearance from the top.
Lower the cup holding the frog back into the tank and release the frog back into the aquarium.
