How to Build a Toad House

Toads love to rest in dark, safe places close to the earth. You can build a toad house for next to nothing in your garden or yard. All you need is a little time and some household items. Your garden will be filled with toad song and the toads will also help kill unwanted insects. If you give them plenty of space at first, eventually they will let you gently handle them. Choose a cool, shady, damp area of your garden to build your toad house.
