Things You'll Need
- Bowl
- White vinegar
- Toothbrush
Instructions
Insert the fogger into the water of your terrarium where it will be fully submerged. The fogger does best when the top of the water level sensor of the fogger is .25 to 1.10 inches below the water surface.
Unroll the power pack cable and attach it to the fogger and the electrical plug. Route the power pack cable from the terrarium to the wall socket and ensure that it is flat without any kinks in it.
Insert the power cable into the power pack of the fogger. Observe the fogger. When the on/off indicator light is on, the fogger is working and should produce mist.
Monitor the water levels in the terrarium. When the water level falls below the level sensor bar located at the top of the fogger, it should turn off. If the fogger keeps running and the indicator light is on, this means that the ceramic membrane -- the circular ceramic disc located at the top of the fogger -- needs to be cleaned.
Clean your fogger by soaking it for 30 minutes in a bowl filled with a solution of two cups warm water and two cups white vinegar. Clean off any hard water residue with a toothbrush. Place it back into your terrarium and turn it back on.
