What kind of temperature do ospreys need to survive in?

Osprey can tolerate a wide range of temperatures, but they prefer to nest in areas with warm climates. They typically nest in trees near water, such as lakes, rivers, or estuaries, where they can find an abundance of fish, their primary source of food. Osprey tend to migrate to warmer regions during winter to find food and avoid extreme cold temperatures. They can survive in freezing temperatures, but they may have difficulty hunting for food and may experience stress.
