How many babies do African dwarf frogs have?

African dwarf frogs (Hymenochirus boettgeri) are prolific breeders, and a single female can lay hundreds of eggs in a single breeding season. The number of eggs laid can vary depending on the size and age of the female, as well as the environmental conditions. In general, a healthy adult female African dwarf frog can lay anywhere from 10 to 50 eggs at a time, with multiple batches being laid over the course of a few weeks.
