How long can a minibeast live for?

The lifespan of a minibeast varies greatly depending on the species. Some may only live for a few days, while others can live for several years. For example, mayflies only live for a few days as adults, while queen ants can live for up to several decades. Generally, larger minibeasts tend to live longer than smaller ones. Additionally, some minibeasts, such as certain species of spiders and beetles, may enter a state of dormancy during unfavourable conditions, such as extreme cold or lack of food, which can extend their lifespan.
