Legendary Figure
The legendary figure of Vailcrow is the patron of bandits, and is said to have been a human who allied with the Dark One and killed numerous Aes Sedai during the War of the Shadow, including members of the Blue Ajah. According to legend, Vailcrow himself was killed in the last days of the war by the Aes Sedai; his body was dragged behind their horses.
Bloodline
The Vailcrow bloodline is a branch of the royal Aiel line of the Tuatha'an. This branch is said to be descended from Vailcrow, the legendary figure. The Vailcrow line produces numerous powerful warriors.
