What is protozal?

Protozaol is an antiviral medication used to treat HIV infection. It belongs to a class of medications known as non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs). Protozaol works by blocking the action of reverse transcriptase, an enzyme that HIV uses to replicate its genetic material. This prevents the virus from multiplying and spreading, thereby slowing the progression of the infection.

Protozaol is typically used in combination with other antiviral medications to form a combination antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimen. It is not a cure for HIV, but when taken as prescribed, it can help control the virus and prevent the development of serious complications.

Common side effects of Protozaol may include:

- rash

- nausea

- vomiting

- diarrhea

- dizziness

- headache

- fatigue

- insomnia

- muscle pain

Protozaol should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to the medication or any of its ingredients. It should also be used with caution in individuals with certain medical conditions, such as liver or kidney problems. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before taking Protozaol.
