All parts of the willow tree are toxic to guinea pigs, including:
* Leaves
* Bark
* Twigs
* Flowers
* Seeds
Symptoms of willow poisoning in guinea pigs include:
* Diarrhea
* Vomiting
* Lethargy
* Loss of appetite
* Tremors
* Seizures
If you suspect your guinea pig has ingested willow, contact your veterinarian immediately.
Note: Even small amounts of willow can be toxic to guinea pigs. If you have willow trees in your yard, be sure to keep your guinea pig away from them.
